Elemental Sulphur NPK and Micronutrients Formulation Opportunities
Other Nitrogen, Phosphate, Potash (NPKs) and micronutrient formulations are possible by using sulphur as a carrier for other materials. NPKs and micronutrient metals can be emulsified into the liquid sulphur batch tank and formed with the drop form process. T-Tech Fertilizer (www.ttech-us.com) formulates a variety of Zinc, Manganese, Copper, Iron and a variety of micronutrient mixes using this process. The net result is an extremely uniform, low heavy metal, agronomically sound product that is a leader in its field. For example, sugar cane growers in south Florida use a prescription blend of zinc, manganese, copper and iron to satisfy both their micronutrient needs as well as their sulphur needs, all in a product that delivers nutrients the plants over the entire growing season without the concern of leaching losses and groundwater contamination. ![]() ![]()
