and Services (Sulphur Forming)
Upward of 45,000,000 tonnes of liquid molten sulphur is produced annually as a by-product of oil and gas processing. In order for the sulphur to be handled safely and economically, it must be formed into a solid pastille or a granule. Solid sulphur can be transported more effectively. There are several types of formed sulphur ranging from slate, round granules, wet prilled, and pastilled (ie. Split pea). The Pastilled type of product is considered as a well known, premium quality product in international markets. Omni Sulphur has years of experience in small forming operations that produce less than 100 Metric Tonnes per day to much larger operations producing several thousand Metric Tonnes per day.
