Growth Opportunities

There are approximately 55 million tonnes of sulphur per annum produced globally with some experts estimating this number to grow by another 30% 2030. The global deficiency of plant nutrient sulphur is estimated to grow to 11 million tonnes by 2012, much of which coming from Asia and the Americas.

In addition to the growing volume of worldwide sulphur production, the world's population continues to increase. With this comes a greater need for many countries to be 'self-sufficient' with respect to food supply in order to feed its population.

Given this large increase in both sulphur production along with the large increase in global population, there is a strong opportunity to take a plentiful, relatively inexpensive raw material, and make an upgraded, agronomically and environmentally sound fertilizer product.

Elemental sulphur fertilizer has been used extensively in North America and has been used successfully in Europe, Australasia, India, China, and the Middle East.

What All This Means:

• The population of the world will continue to grow
• The volume of by-product sulphur will continue to grow
• The desire for many countries to be self-sufficient is growing
• Opportunity exists globally for niche, environmentally
   sound fertilizers
